Student Support Programs

DSF wants every college student to successfully complete a college degree or certificate. Below are some helpful resources and programs that are available at ASU.

  • CAMP: College Assistance Migrant Program – provides academic, social, and financial support services to migrant and seasonal farmworkers or their dependents, to assist them in the successful completion of their first year of college and persistence toward degree attainment. CAMP@ASU provides services and resources in the areas of academic guidance, career planning and development, intellectual and cultural enrichment, as well as financial assistance based on individual need.
  • TRIO Student Support Services – provides students with opportunities for academic development, assistance with basic college requirements, and to motivate students toward the successful completion of their college education. Low-income students who are first-generation college students and students with disabilities are eligible to participate in Student Support Services.
  • Grizzly Testing & Learning Center – dedicated to fostering student success by providing testing services and peer tutoring in a low stress environment in an accessible and welcoming space. Strives to promote development of critical academic skills and independent learning through a variety of programs, as well as proctoring tests.
  • COSI: Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative – created to increase the attainment of Higher Education. COSI helps by addressing the needs of accessibility and affordability. If you are interested in this, reach out to your campus contact directly.
  • STEM CenterThe STEM Center at Adams State University is dedicated to supporting the academic success of students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. It’s a common space on campus where students and faculty gather to exchange knowledge and bond as a community in a comfortable, informal environment.
  • NetTutorNetTutor provides live tutoring in more than 30 subjects and is available 24 hours a day to students. This is a free, one-on-one service through the University Blackboard system.
