Student Support Programs
DSF wants every college student to successfully complete a college degree or certificate. Below are some helpful resources and programs that are available at ACC.
- Summer Bridge: First Year Experience – ACC’s summer bridge program is a way of connecting you to campus resources and starting your first year on the right foot. It’s a week of activities, instruction, and information critical to your college success.
- National Society of Leadership Success – Members with above a 2.5 GPA are invited to participate in this national leadership society. Members follow a step-by-step program to build their leadership skills.
- Academic Clubs – ACC has a variety of academic clubs from Early Childhood Education to Music Technology and everything in between to help you to get to better know your fellow students and instructors, develop leadership skills, and expand your learning.
- Elevate at ACC – All Elevate at ACC students partner with the Elevate at ACC Coordinator to draft and implement an individual program of study. Specific courses are determined based on skills and competencies needed for students to achieve identified academic and employment goals. Develop and enhance your academic skills, plan for your career, gain job skills, make lasting friendships, open up possibilities, and much, much more!
- TRIO Student Support Services – ACC’s TRIO Student Support Services program provides personalized attention to first-generation and low-income students and students with disabilities. Students are supported and empowered in their academic, personal and professional growth. TRIO specialists assist with financial support, college requirements, and motivate students toward the successful completion of a degree.
