The rumors are true! ☀️ DSF is offering summer scholarships to DSF Scholars taking summer classes. ☀️
To be eligible, you must:
✅ Have received a DSF award during the current academic year.
✅ Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
✅ Be enrolled in at least 3 summer credits.
✅ Attend 1 of 30 DSF college partners.
How to apply: Visit your DSF Student Portal and complete the Summer Scholarship Intent Form by June 1! 🗓️
Meet DSF Scholar Flor Prieto, a Class of 2026 first-generation graduate and the newest Marketing alumna from @cudenver! Flor’s journey is a powerful testament to the determination we see in so many of our DSF Scholars. While excelling academically, she balanced internships, work, and even launched her own business, all while mentoring her sisters on their own educational paths.
For Flor, this degree is more than just a piece of paper; it’s the power to choose her own future. We are so proud to be part of her support system and are rooting for her every step of the way. Chosen by his peers, this honor recognizes a staff member who truly embodies DSF’s core values: Innovation, Integrity, Relationships, Learning, Leadership, and Equity.
Miguel’s journey with DSF is a powerful testament to growth and community impact. He originally started his DSF career as a DSF College Advisor at John F. Kennedy High School, where his student-centered mindset helped hundreds of @kennedy_commanders navigate their path to higher education. Since stepping into his current role as the Career and Applied Pathways Manager last year, Miguel has continued to lead with heart, exposing DSF Scholars and Alumni to a world of new possibilities.
As a DSF Alum himself, Miguel is a shining example of what it looks like to give back to your community. His dedication, care, and passion drive the vital work he does every day.
