Chosen by his peers, this honor recognizes a staff member who truly embodies DSF’s core values: Innovation, Integrity, Relationships, Learning, Leadership, and Equity.
Miguel’s journey with DSF is a powerful testament to growth and community impact. He originally started his DSF career as a DSF College Advisor at John F. Kennedy High School, where his student-centered mindset helped hundreds of @kennedy_commanders navigate their path to higher education. Since stepping into his current role as the Career and Applied Pathways Manager last year, Miguel has continued to lead with heart, exposing DSF Scholars and Alumni to a world of new possibilities.
As a DSF Alum himself, Miguel is a shining example of what it looks like to give back to your community. His dedication, care, and passion drive the vital work he does every day. We are incredibly proud to recognize Miguel as our newest Values Valedictorian and celebrate the incredible impact he continues to make on students, families and the entire DSF community! 🌟
As the spring semester wraps up, DSF College Advisors are in full swing, helping seniors get ready for life after graduation and making sure all students feel confident finishing the year strong and coming back in the fall set up for success! 🎓✨

Seeing the Google environment firsthand was an unforgettable experience, and we are deeply grateful for your hospitality, time, and energy! 👏🏼
We also want to thank the employees who participated in the panel. Your words were truly inspirational and provided the exact motivation and perspective our students need. The message to be grateful for the community that raised you and never let others define your potential based on where you’re from resonated deeply and was so important for our students to hear.
