The purpose of the Alumni Advisory Committee Mentorship Program is to empower DSF Scholars and Alumni to grow professionally while inspiring them to contribute to the Denver community by providing individualized mentorship.

2021-22 Mandatory Events

*Please note due to COVID-19 the program is currently completely virtual.* All events will take place in the Denver metro area. For out of state DSF Alumni, virtual opportunities can be discussed.

  • Thursday, August 5 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Program Orientation 
  • Thursday, September 9 from 5:30  7:00 p.m., Program Kickoff  
  • Thursday, October 21 from 5:3 7:00 p.m., Program Gathering  
  • Thursday, November 11 from 5:30 7:00 p.m., Program Gathering 
  • Thursday, January 20 from 5:30  7:00 p.m., Program Gathering  
  • Thursday, March 10 from 5:30  7:00 p.m., Program Gathering  
  • Thursday, May 19 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Recognition Event  

Mentee Requirements & Commitment

  • Be a current DSF Scholar on track for Fall 2021 payment.  
  • Meet with mentor a minimum of twice a month, August 2021 through May 2022. 
  • Attend mandatory events to continue mentorship development and build connections with other participants.  
  • Schedule 45-minute check-in calls with Program Lead(s) as needed.  
  • Agree to and sign Waiver and Release of Liability, Code of Conduct, and Commitment forms.

  • Meet with mentee a minimum of twice a month, August 2021 through May 2022. 
  • Attend mandatory events to continue mentorship development and build connections with other participants.

DSF staff will do its best to match all applicants; however, to ensure best mentor-mentee matches, our team cannot guarantee all applicants will be selected. If you are not able to commit to a twice a month and full year mentor-mentee relationship, please consider applying at another time.
