DSF Mentorship Program

The DSF Mentorship Program empowers DSF Scholars and Alumni to grow professionally while inspiring them to contribute to the Denver community by providing individualized mentorship.

Application deadline is May 29. Selections and matches will be made June-July and applicants notified the week of July 27.

Mentorship Program Objectives

Mentee Requirements & Commitment

  • Be a current DSF Scholar on track for Fall 2026 award, re-enrolled student, or a recent DSF Alum.  
  • Meet with mentor once a month, August 2026-May 2027. 
  • Attend monthly in-person program gatherings in the Denver metro area (dates below) to continue mentorship development and build connections with other participants.   
  • Participate in check-ins with Program Manager. 
  • Agree to and sign Waiver and Release of Liability, Code of Conduct, and Commitment forms.

  • Be a DSF Alum or DSF Community Partner and pass background check.
  • Meet with mentee once a month, August 2026-May 2027.

  • Tuesday, August 25 from 5:30 8:00 p.m.Program Kickoff
  • Tuesday, September 29 from 5:30-8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Friday, October 16, DSF Annual Homecoming Gala (details to come)
  • Tuesday, October 27 from 5:30 8:00 p.m.Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, November 17 from 5:30 8:00 p.m.Program Gathering
  • December Check-In with Program Manager 
  • Tuesday, January 26 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • February/March, DSF Gathering of Gratitude Breakfast & 12th Annual Scholar Summit (details to come)
  • March Check-In with Program Manager 
  • Tuesday, April 27 from 5:30 8:00 p.m.Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, May 18 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Celebration & Recognition

DSF will do its best to match all applicants; however, to ensure best mentor-mentee matches, our team cannot guarantee all applicants will be selected. Please review program dates and requirements, if you are not available to commit to the program expectations at this time, please consider applying for our next application cycle.
