DSF Mentorship Program

The DSF Mentorship Program empowers DSF Scholars and Alumni to grow professionally while inspiring them to contribute to the Denver community by providing individualized mentorship.

Application deadline is June 1, 2025. Selections and matches will be made June-July and applicants notified the week of July 14.

Mentorship Program Objectives

  • To expand connections and networks  
  • To support professional growth 
  • To provide opportunities to practice interpersonal skills

Mentee Requirements & Commitment

  • Be a current DSF Scholar on track for Fall 2025 award, re-enrolled student, or a recent DSF Alum.  
  • Meet with mentor a minimum of twice a month, August 2025 through May 2026. 
  • Attend program events (dates below) to continue mentorship development and build connections with other participants.   
  • Check-ins with Program Manager. 
  • Agree to and sign Waiver and Release of Liability, Code of Conduct, and Commitment forms.

2025-26 Mentorship Program Events

All events will take place in the Denver metro area.

  • Tuesday, August 26 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Kickoff
  • Friday, September 26, DSF Annual Homecoming Gala (more details to come)
  • Tuesday, September 30 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, October 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Kickoff
  • Tuesday, November 25 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, January 27 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • February/March, DSF Gathering of Gratitude Breakfast & 11th Annual Scholar Summit (more details to come)
  • Tuesday, March 24 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, April 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, May 19 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Celebration & Recognition Event
