DSF Mentorship Program

The DSF Mentorship Program empowers DSF Scholars and Alumni to grow professionally while inspiring them to contribute to the Denver community by providing individualized mentorship.

Application deadline is June 1, 2024. Selections and matches will be made June-July and applicants notified the week of July 15.

Mentorship Program Objectives

  • To expand connections and networks  
  • To support professional growth 
  • To provide opportunities to practice interpersonal skills

Mentee Requirements & Commitment

  • Be a current DSF Scholar on track for Fall 2024 award or a recent DSF Alum.  
  • Meet with mentor a minimum of twice a month, August 2024 through May 2025. 
  • Attend program events to continue mentorship development and build connections with other participants. Dates below.   
  • Check-ins with Program Manager. 
  • Agree to and sign Waiver and Release of Liability, Code of Conduct, and Commitment forms.

  • Meet with mentee a minimum of twice a month, August 2024 through May 2025.

2024-25 Mentorship Program Events

All events will take place in the Denver metro area.

  • Tuesday, August 27 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Kickoff
  • Wednesday, September 25 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Tuesday, October 22 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • Friday, November 1, DSF Annual Homecoming Gala (more details to come)  
  • Tuesday, January 28 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Gathering
  • February/March, DSF Gathering of Gratitude Breakfast & 10th Annual Scholar Summit (more details to come)
  • Tuesday, May 27 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Program Celebration & Recognition Event
