College Advisor

Born and raised in Center, Colorado, Yosedit discovered her passion for education through her time in Upward Bound at Adams State University. It was there that her love for counseling and higher education began to grow. As a first-generation college student, Yosedit went on to earn her degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Colorado State University, where she also had the opportunity to study abroad in India. After college, Yose gained experience in Special Education, College Access, and as an English teacher in Spain. This strengthened her commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds. She is deeply passionate about creating equitable systems that help students reach their dreams. At DSF, Yosedit serves as a College Advisor supporting campuses across DPS and happily spends her days connecting with students and helping them build lives they are proud of. In her free time, you can find Yose traveling to a new city or tomándose un Cafecito.
