Taylor Carlisle

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Taylor found her calling in the coastal waters of nearby Florida. Driven by her desire to work on the water and her enthusiasm to help others, she joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Her career path during that time took many avenues including work as a helicopter pilot, instructional systems chief, training specialist, performance consultant, and international port security liaison. She also had the privilege of living in many coastal states throughout the U.S. and overseas. After retiring with 20 years of service she’s still compelled to assist others and have an impact on lives. Working at DSF is an honor where she can blend her passion for offering assistance and developing performance improvement interventions through financial aid training and instructional products. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Smith College and a Master of Arts degree in Education from San Diego State University. In her free time she loves catching live shows and carving spoons.
