Steph Chavez

Originally born in California but raised in Colorado, Steph brings a passion for education and student support to her role as a college advisor at DSF. After earning a BA in Social Sciences and Secondary Education from Carthage College, she spent nine years in the classroom as a high school teacher before transitioning into higher education as an admissions counselor at Arapahoe Community College. Whether it is working with high schoolers or college students, her focus has always been on empowering young people to succeed and to feel supported in their journey to reach their goals.
