Patton Lowell

College Advisor, South High School

Born and raised in Colorado, Patton aspired to pursue a career in education after seeing the effort and energy his teachers poured into him. After high school, he attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Concentration in Social Studies Teaching. For the last 6 years, Patton served Colorado youth as an AVID and World History teacher at Battle Mountain High School in Edwards, CO. Through his work with AVID, Patton’s passion for providing high schoolers access to college-going systems and planning college visits flourished. As a College Advisor for the Denver Scholarship Foundation, he is excited to continue to provide student-centered experiences and assist Denver South High School students in pursuing a higher education.
