Ona Fisher

Campus Advisor, Community College of Denver

Ona Fisher, originally from Colorado’s Front Range, earned her degree in Art History from Colorado State University. She then moved to Washington to pursue a master’s in education from Seattle University, where she spent a decade in the Pacific Northwest before returning to Colorado.

With a background in community engagement, academic, and career advising in higher education, Ona is excited to bring her experience to Denver Scholarship Foundation. She believes in the transformative power of higher education—both personally and professionally—and is passionate about ensuring all students have access to opportunities and the support they need to succeed.

Outside of work, you will usually find Ona either making art, or on an adventure in the mountains. She is currently focused on beaded jewelry, though she also experiments with other mediums like printmaking and photography.
