Maria Finan

Maria grew up in small town Iowa and attended the University of Dayton, Ohio for business school. After graduation, she wanted to gain insight on the nonprofit side of business and completed two years of AmeriCorps national service with the “I Have a Dream” Foundation of Boulder County. In her time with “I Have a Dream” she served low-income and first generation students from the ‘Iris’ cohort as they prepared to pursue their college goals. Maria is excited to continue advocating for students and working for educational equity at the University of Colorado Denver where she now serves as a Campus Advisor. In her free time, Maria enjoys hiking, drinking coffee, skiing, visiting National Parks, and spending time with family and friends.
