Liz Taylor

Campus Advisor, Metropolitan State University of Denver

Liz was born and raised in Michigan. She attended Kalamazoo College, where she majored in Religion and studied abroad in Greece. She then moved to Israel to pursue a master’s degree in Middle East Studies and travel in the region. Upon graduation, she spent three years supporting women and youth in leadership development programs in the Middle East. She and her husband are avid backpackers and decided to move to Denver in 2013. Inspired by the high schoolers she worked with in Iraq and eager to support her local community, Liz taught social studies in Commerce City and Denver for eight years. Serving students has been an extremely rewarding experience, and she is excited to continue that work as Campus Advisor.
