Keiry Sosa

Growing up in Denver, Colorado, as a Latina, Keiry noticed the challenges that students had to go through to pursue a higher education. Keiry went through the struggles of speaking another language and had to learn how to assimilate at a young age. When Keiry became a senior in high school, she began researching different organizations that could help her through her academic journey at Regis University. This is when she met Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) and became a scholar for four continuous years. Graduated with a BA in Politics and Peace and Justice, Keiry felt immense gratitude for DSF and became interested in joining the team that made her academic journey as a Latina smooth. Keiry is extremely excited to join the team of a foundation that made higher education a reality for her. As scholarship program specialist, she hopes to positively impact scholars’ lives as she firmly believes that by increasing accessibility to higher education, we create a better Colorado. One that is inclusive and opens the door to opportunity for all.
