Katie Damas

Katie Damas (she/ella/ela) is a first-generation Salvadoran QuestBridge scholar raised in California and Arkansas. She attended Colorado College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in southwest studies and music. She is passionate about supporting undocumented, migrant, first generation, and LGBTQ+ communities and specializes in diversity, equity, and inclusion work. She has been a college advisor at Denver South High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and John F. Kennedy High School, where she used her experiences to empower junior and senior student populations. She now supports the Events team as Event Coordinator. She is also an active member of the Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling Government Relations Committee and serves as an alumni advisor for the Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. Tau Chapter in Colorado Springs. Katie strives to create systemic change by leading her work with kindness in her local communities.
