Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Jorge Jáquez has always believed that stories can change lives. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) graduate, his love for learning inspired him to earn dual bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Media Studies and Graphic Design from the University of Northern Colorado.
He joined Denver Scholarship Foundation because he believes every student deserves access to opportunities that can shape their future. As the Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, Jorge brings that mission to life through bilingual storytelling, creative campaigns, and digital content that celebrates students and strengthens community connections.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, discovering new cultures, and never misses an opportunity to watch the latest film on the big screen.
