James Cousin

DSF Board Member | CFO & Chief Diversity Officer, Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN)

James Cousin is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Strategy of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN).  He’s been with the association since 2001. In this capacity, James oversees accounting, the AORN Surgical Conference & Expo (top 150 national convention in the United States), HR, business opportunities, membership, publications and facilities management. 

Based in Denver, CO, AORN and its subsidiaries represents $40in combined revenues.  AORN is a non-profit membership association based in Denver, Colorado that represents the interests of more than 200,000 perioperative nurses (operating room nurses) throughout the U.S. by providing nursing education, standards, and clinical practice resourcesOver 40,000 registered nurses are members of AORN.  These members manage, teach, and practice perioperative nursing.  

Cousin has m ore than 32 years of experience in finance and accounting in various industries, including healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, oil gas and CPA firm.
