Jake Wenger

Jake was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and attended South High School, so the mission of DSF is near and dear to his personal journey. After spending four years working on video production in Los Angeles, Jake decided to transition to the nonprofit sector and moved back to Denver. He worked at the State Health and Benefits Exchange as Colorado implemented the Affordable Care Act. There, Jake started in quality assurance. Jake worked on application design as a business analyst as well as system architecture. Jake moved up into a management position where he built teams and coordinated efforts across vendors and state partners, always with the goal of keeping people front and center when building technical solutions. Jake is excited to join DSF and continue working in IT systems for a mission he cares closely about. When he is not working, he enjoys going to the movies and playing trading card games with his partner, Emily.
