Originally from Lancaster, PA, Christina attended Gettysburg College and received a BA in Sociology. After graduating, she moved to Madrid, Spain to teach English to elementary students. Following that year, Christina realized that she wanted to continue working in education, which makes sense as she comes from a family of educators so she decided to pursue a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia. She graduated with a dual degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. As a College and Career Counselor at a high school in North Philly, Christina loved connecting with students and helping them plan their postsecondary goals. She then decided to move to Denver in 2022 and started working at Bruce Randolph as a Student Success Coordinator and Librarian. She is super excited to continue partnering with the Bruce community but now in her dream job as DSF College Advisor, while also getting to impact the Manual community too. Giving students the tools they need to improve knowledge and access to their postsecondary options is her jam and she wants every student to be well informed about the decisions they make for their own lives. Christina loves living in Colorado and enjoys being able to go to all the EDM shows, read fantasy books, host themed parties, hike, camp, craft, bake, and experience the all around beauty of life.
