My name is Areli Alvarez. I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and earned a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I currently work in the healthcare field, where I enjoy being part of a system that supports the well-being of my community.
The Denver Scholarship Foundation played a huge role in my college journey. Their support made it possible for me to pursue my degree with confidence. When I learned about the opportunity to serve on the DSF Alumni Advisory Committee, I knew I wanted to be part of something that uplifts students the same way DSF uplifted me. I’m excited to give back, share my experience, and support current scholars as they navigate their own paths.Â
