As a DSF College Advisor at Denver North High School, Andrea (she/her/ella) focuses on building strong relationships, fostering community, and helping others unlock their inherent strengths. She was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and is a first-generation college graduate with a bachelor’s in Human Services from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s in Higher Education from Penn State University. With a career built on campus and community engagement, Andrea has dedicated herself to uplifting historically marginalized voices and creating inclusive spaces where people feel a genuine sense of belonging. She brings a deep commitment to educational equity to the DSF team, drawing from years of experience walking alongside students pursuing post secondary pathways. When she isn’t working, Andrea enjoys quality time with family and friends, being outdoors with Tierra Madre, and reading—mostly children’s books these days—with her daughters.
