Alyssa Diaz, M.A.

Alyssa is a Denver Colorado native, who attended Denver North High School, and is a DSF alum. She began her college journey as a pre collegiate and gear up student while in high school and continued towards her degree when she attended CU Denver for her B.A. in Communication and Ethnic Studies, and her M.A. in Leadership for Educational Organizations with an emphasis in higher education and student affairs. Alyssa still stays connected with many of her mentors/advocates and wanted to join DSF to be a mentor and support first generation college students. She is passionate about guiding and assisting students to reach their fullest potential and assist them in their college journey. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, yoga, and spending time with her husband who is also a Denver native, NHS alumni, DSF alumni and their two children.
