Thank you to Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) associate board member Dani Fitch, Strategy and Operations Consultant at Slalom, whose proceeds from winning the company’s annual Shark Tank pitch competition were donated to DSF. The Shark Tank competition encourages employees to pitch a donation campaign about their favorite nonprofit before the internal judges. The employee who wins receives a donation to support their favorite foundation. As a proud supporter of DSF, Dani chose DSF as her foundation to pitch and won first place! The Sharks agreed to support one DSF scholarship of $3,600. With the Paige Foundation match during the 2022 Colorado Gives Day on December 6, the total amount donated was $7,200 to support DSF Scholars and their families.

The DSF associate board is integral in inspiring and empowering Denver Public Schools (DPS) students who enroll and graduate from a post-secondary institution by providing the tools and financial resources for essential success. DSF appreciates and sends a heartfelt thank you to DSF associate board member Dani for her continued support in helping make college possible for many DPS students and DSF Scholars and bringing awareness about DSF’s mission while supporting DSF Scholars to pursue successful careers and create a prosperous Denver community.
