Samantha is from Thornton, Colorado, where she graduated from Mapleton Public Schools and became the first person in her family to go to college. She graduated from the University of Denver (DU) with double majors in Psychology and Communication with a minor in Business. Her work in college access began during her first year at DU serving as a mentor for the Latinx Pioneer Prep Leadership Program and as the College Access and Group Visit Fellow for the Office of Undergraduate Admission. She is thrilled to work at Denver Scholarship Foundation as a College Advisor at Bruce Randolph School where she exposes 9th-11th graders to the college process as well as advising the senior class. Her favorite part about working with youth is striving to establish a sense of community that comes with reaching one’s goal. You can learn more about Samantha on LinkedIn.
