Masha was born in Sevastopol, Ukraine and moved to the United States on her third birthday. In 2012, she moved to Denver and is proud to call Colorado home. As a first generation college graduate, Masha is a fierce advocate for student success. In 2016, she joined Governor Hickenlooper’s administration in the Office of Correspondence and Constituent Services. Masha was a Policy Aide and Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff before becoming a Policy Advisor working on higher education and workforce development issues. Before joining DSF in 2020, Masha was on the development team at Urban Peak. Her background includes nonprofit management, fundraising, event coordination, communications, and grants management. Masha received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Russian Language from the University of Denver.
