Emily has worked with young adults for almost 20 years. While her roles have varied from being a counselor/teacher at a therapeutic wilderness program to teaching life management at a school for adjudicated girls, and more recently establishing a postsecondary access and success program serving five Denver metro area high schools, her goal has remained the same. Emily seeks to support and empower students on their self-directed paths to bright, fulfilling adult lives. Emily is committed to educational equity and believes that a postsecondary credential can have a profound impact on a student’s life. She values the opportunity to build positive relationships with students as they seek to achieve their goals. Emily also enjoys camping, college football, and cooking for friends and family.
