ABOUT THE DSF VIRTUAL GALA 2020

With the health and safety of our community as our top priority, Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) embraced a virtual format for our Annual Gala 2020. As our largest fundraising event of the year, we expanded one night of celebration into DSF Spirit Week.

Beginning on Monday, October 5, DSF Spirit Week offered opportunities to participate in short activities and experiences to learn more about DSF’s three-part program while spotlighting the DSF Scholar and Alumni voices that serve as the heartbeat of our work. Our Spirit Week celebration culminated on Thursday, October 8 with DSF Virtual Gala 2020: Celebrating with Spirit.

Thanks to the generous support of our presenting sponsor, Stead Family Foundation, all event costs were underwritten and every dollar raised went directly to scholarships.

Additionally, every dollar donated was matched as available by the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI), a program administered by the Colorado Department of Higher Education.

In an uncertain world, we know that a college degree or certificate paves the way to a brighter future for our students and their families.Thank you for your supporting of our Scholars! Together, we are making college possible.

Slide NONPROFIT HELPS DENVER STUDENTS IN ‘JOURNEY’ TO FIND RIGHT COLLEGE A new school year brings on another class of seniors preparing for the next chapter after graduation, and Denver Public Schools has teamed up with a local nonprofit to give their students the attention they need.
“I want to be in college studying business management,” said Andri’Nae Rhymes, a senior at George Washington High School.
“It will mean a lot to me.” Read More >
Slide The Journey to Career and College Success Starts in the DSF Future Centers For Bruce Randolph School senior Melvin Casillas, preparing for success after high school is a matter of hitting all the right notes.
